Kinda disappointing, not only is it a worse "getting tired of the lazy high elf life" "inspired" work, but then it goes into the most cookie cutter, overused trope of hero v demon lord, and ofc the hero is some shota who's been being used for and sneered at prob. Sheesh, like at least try being a bit more original, even a smidge.
It would've been way more interesting if he would be like a third force and he would explore both sides' reasons and situations while they're fighting or like anything else that would actually make his background being a high elf matter, now it feels like it doesn't matter that he's a high elf at all, he could do the same shit as human as well knowing the reincarnation trope.
Just so tired of this human v demon setting, it's literally been used to death for decades now, it has no impact on the readers whatsoever.

while this is true, the real question is how much of the story is this arc meant to take? according to spoilers in the other comments We reach a point after Minori dies and the demon lord is killed, so I think while the premise itself is a bit generic, how it goes about it and possibly continues after it is much more important to the discussion. At least this one chose the secret invasion by demons route instead of king appointed hero. a lot less common and could be handled uniquely, I wouldn't know
