About tap water...
In my city we have brand new (has barely a few years) water system and it's so awesome. But still, when two or three years ago the street was under renovation, some pipes were found with leakage, some had sand/dirt in them and one building next door still had like 2m long pipe made out of LEAD. That's not the end, but the pipes in your building also matter. My house has all copper pipes, but today plastic is more common. It all is variables to take in consideration.
