Hmm, this chapter hits a little too close to home for me, it reminds me of a friend I have/had,

she insisted in having a Husky as a pet, then neglected him when he stopped being smol and cute and turned into a hyperactive giant dog 3/4 the size of her, her mother had to give it to another family, I hope he's ok now. Then, she wanted another dog, one that looks like mine, smol, fluffy and doesn't grow big, but recently, she just left her mother and went to live with her partner "independently". The fucking hypocrite dared to say her mother didn't care for her (her single mother, btw, her father died when she was a kid). I'm glad I don't see her anymore. At least this new dog has a family with her mother and us that actually take care of her.
