I wouldn't be disgusted by the cat's dead body, I'd feel sorry for it and would probably try and bury it somewhere. Since it's so intact and fresh I might not even feel to squeamish.
On the other hand if the body is badly damaged that's a different story.
Villagers have a ton more sub-classes available than Personas do, and more freedom of choice within them...
Villagers don't think of that; they see Villager as a low-tier job and Persona as a high-tier job.
They see the "special" treatment Personas receive... and don't notice how tightly the Personas are monitored by the higher ups within their society.
Or it doesn't sink in properly if they do notice it.
The author has an interesting vision.
It will be interesting to see how it is developed.
The saying "You guys have it easy." is directed to the common folk.
Sure, we may not get famous, but at least we have ways to get to where we want to go. Nothing like being a "Hero" or a "Demon Lord", in which both are all about death.
