India was a philosophical, religious and mathematic center of civilisation where many people travelled to in ancient times. They actually made the number system and was the birthplace of Buddhism. The most well known Chinese monk "Xuanzang" travelled to India and helped develop Chinese Buddhism, and his diary eventually influenced the creation of the classic "Journey to the West" which would go on to influence the creation of Dragonball a thousand years later lol
