Artwork is solid, but I feel it's a story that ends up lacking due to its sheer brevity. I think twice the number of pages would have conveyed the tale better. As it is, it's like the old man's moved just because the protagonist is a cute girl.

I am surprised and glad that the ending wasn't comedic, like a lightning spell that hits them both or something.
Feels like stories that play it straight are becoming an exception to the rule these days.
