Ever since we entered this after story, the series honestly doesn't feel the same. It is nice to see that her life has gotten better, and that she's no longer a girl failure, but honestly it kind of takes away from the series. It reminds me of how the Watamote manga series became something completely different after the author decided to make that girl popular and with a ton of friends.

I still want to see how Gye's story ends, but by this point what else is there to show, other than her and her bf going on their date, likely having off screen condom seggs. The last big milestone for this series will probably be her bf meeting her parents (especially her dad), and honestly (in my opinion) that'd probably be a good ending point for this series. Unless the author wants to do an epilogue 20+ years down the line, where Gye and husband have a girl failure of their own to support, with history effectively repeating itself.
watamote still works imo due to its specific humour, i was a bit shocked to see how much hate it gets now!
