think of it this way: the chief is the president, implicitly a former member of the conservative hardliners. then his son died and he went full harmonious Democrat. the dems fuck up in bringing Eliza into the SAZ, so the GOP hardliners gear up cus the only thing worse than a Democrat is a Communist. But the Commies never came. The End.
...but I guess this won't make as much sense if you're not American.

Chiharu is a regular Japanese girl and Lorem switches between doting on Gospel and being overly frank. This is easily translatable.
Lizette speaks in the 3rd person. This is easily translatable.
Teresa speaks super politely. Cultural implications aside, this is easily translatable.
Veronica speaks like an old Japanese man. Implied love for her grandfather aside, ultimately not relevant. No real way to translate this into English. I write her speaking "normally".
Dolores (who will be introduced in a couple chapters) speaks like an ojousama but says a lot of rude things. Like that one girl from No Game No Life. This is relatively easily translatable, but you lose a bit of the "anime ojousama" flavor in the process.
Eliza speaks Kansai. Other than giving her a redneck dialect as has been normalized in the American anime scene (Osaka in Azumanga Daiou, etc.), there's no real way to translate this into English. Using Scottish English in my release would be inaccurate. My standard is American English and Scottish people are from Scotland, whereas Osakan Japanese is still explicitly WITHIN Japan. Using Scottish in my releases would at least make more sense if I were British, but in that case I'd write Eliza's lines out in Cockney.
Therefore she speaks "normally". You're free to give her a Scottish accent in your releases if you like.
