@BCS this mocap technology does exists, here's Benedict Cumberbatch doing it for Smaug.

And like what Maiorem posted, it is used for Vtuber and "cheaper" version does exist. But most VTuber don't use these mocap tech. Nijisanji only uses Iphone X and real2d for face tracking, hololive probably the same. Mocap is quite an overkill unless you are doing something like this.
