Lying about your age to get with a girl 12 years younger than you is incredibly predatory. That's not a Korean thing. That's a huge red flag. What else will he lie about next? Does he think you'll be easy because you're younger? The age gap would have possibly been fine if he was upfront with but but lying stinks of a manipulative person.

@Sem I agree that it's not a good thing to lie to get a date but it's not like he didn't come clean. Calling it predatory is a bit extreme. If that's the case then the vast majority of women over thirty would unfairly receive that label.
