I can't even understand what's happening anymore.
All I got from the chapter was it was time for a booba break.
I was thinking the same, this story has been dragging so long and this current arc feels like an extension of the previous one with the way it is going, MC and Rangii separating once again.
I don't remember everything, and it is probably biased as heck, feel free to correct me, here's my summary :
Sunghoon and Rangii have finally reunited. You'd think there's gonna be a break between arcs, at least give MC some break, but Rangii's sister (Nyangi? I'm having hard time remembering names) came like a wreaking ball, she brought a mob angry at MC because she manipulated them into thinking MC is someone evil taking advantage of Rangii. Nyangi was threatening MC with the fact the mob are on hunger strike and she was gaslighting him into thinking it would be his fault if they die. Like it didn't matter it is the mob's choice to do so, never mind just believing Nyangi's word without even meeting Sunghoon and judge for themselves if it's true (I suppose since they're looking like kids, they are naïve and so easy to exploit for someone manipulative like Nyangi).
Nyangi justified acting this way in Rangi's interest, because she had no confidence this love between human and the phantom king will bear fruit, that Sunghoon who is just a human male teen (all potential but has nothing going for currently) is no good for Rangi (the phantom king, and probably centuries old) at all. She did not allow Rangi to have her autonomy, not letting her find out if her decision to love MC is a good one or end up making her miserable. Regardless of that, Rangi did not want the mob of phantom kids to die so MC's group tried to think a way to do that.
My man Sunghoon, as dumb he is, keeps getting dragged into drama, the latest being another character assassination (first one with Chii who got manipulated by the snake girl, second time was Aya I believe with rumors of MC being a lolicon). Who knew accepting Rangi's love means all this crap, always assuming the bad out of him or mocking him for being basically a kid.
