The time she did pass out drunk she said the next day that she actually was hoping he'd go for it, cause there was already an established relationship there and she wanted to push it.

He COULD have been this way, and his inner voice was always porny, but we never saw him act predatory like this.

It's the serialization phenomenon - an original story losing its essence when it stops being an independent work.
The characterization in the original series was more laid back, focused around the MC, the esper girl and the ghost girl being goofy together and getting spooked by (before getting acquainted with) other ghosts. I don't think MC was this much of a predator, either. Shame, really.

With the MC keep being this creepy, I think I will drop this manga now. Kinda sad, since I liked the pre-serialized version. Despite of how cute the ghost girl is, I don't like the MC keep planning how to rape the girls. This is still chapter 4 and he has tried twice already.

To be honest, with 4 chapters out now, I think I prefered the pre-serilization better with how at first it was just him and the ghost and then the cast extended from there. It was more enjoyable pacing wise.

It's definitely on purpose. Same with the other characters too in this serialisation. I think the author or editor wanted the characters to have a more distinct personality and made their unique aspects more intense. Felt that the webmanga was just right, though I may be biased. I'll need to see more of it to know if I really like it

i think the same, also thats make more sense of the reason he pick up the girl in the next chapter without the MC needy to fill holes cringe powers adding the character 6 feels weird

Is it just me, or does he seem more gross in this version than the pre-serialization version? Or was he always like this and I was too stupid too notice?

I miss the old version and their crazy ghost shenanigans. Hell, the Esper Girl already was looking like she was gonna like it near the end of the old version without him being "that" weird; as in, being way more into the ghosts than the actual humans.

I mean, in the old version he got an erection from the ghost girl lying on him, and that traumatized her quite a bit. This dude has always been gross.
