Blunder? I'm not sure I follow. To be fair, it's the usual awkward 'let's do something together' they pretty much always have had. So I guess, in that sense, it's just more of the ongoing stasis or glacial progress they've always had together that's going to give Chitoge ample opportunity to make Raku realize how much he cares about her, too, not just Kosaki.

If you're talking about confessing to Kosaki, I have a sinking feeling it might coincide with him finally realizing he likes Chitoge, too, keeping it still up in the air who he'll end up with until the last moment. (outside of how much he does for one versus the other, of course)
