Kosaki is there because she has to tell Chitoge not to give up. I'm convinced that, despite how heart-broken Chitoge is, she still needs the support of her best friend, and that it will help.

But I do understand that it seems counter-productive to see the girl she thinks she lost to.

I'm more upset at Chitoge for running. I understand how hard it is, but if she cares as much about these two as she claims, she can't just let them suffer like this. She knows they can't let this go, and she's wasting the chance they have to deal with it.

And I don't mean upset as in pissed. I'm definitely on the sad side with it, just like I feel is the case with all three of these characters. They are hurting and sad. If they are as important to each other as they claim, they need to face each other.

To be fair, it's in the middle of an American city. Outside of a few native Japanese speakers that might be around, how many would actually know what she's yelling? Not to mention they're thousands of miles from home. Only the three of them know who they are. The fact they're surrounded by strangers that likely don't know what they're shouting probably takes a chunk of the edge off.

And, yeah, wow... Raku's mom wrote the book is quite the revelation. And then he revised it for the kids' personal copy.
