Oh, hey, it's the second half of the first OVA. This was a wild scenario. Worked real well as an OVA 'side-story' thing.
Of course Raku didn't really care that much about the whole 'shrine maiden' thing until Chitoge and Kosaki showed up. The double-whammy of both of them appearing at once really did a number on him, huh? Also love the complete lack of a reaction to Marika in the same outfit from him before that, hahaha... eat it, psycho-girl. You don't register on his radar. At least not in a positive way.
And Shu getting sent flying by Ruri because he just pisses her off in general. He pretty much always deserves it.
Also the whole attempts to purify were all pretty wild. It comes as no surprise that in the final attempt Marika doesn't even hesitate and already sets off running with a mouth full of holy water while the other three are still in shock at the method. And his initial reaction was, similarly, predictable. Like, why wouldn't he run seeing that terrifying girl coming at him like that? There's a reason why Marika is 'worst girl'.
And yeah... guy is just going to have it worse and worse? I wouldn't doubt it. These harem romcoms generally thrive on making the male lead's life a living hell.
