@CronosusCZ There could be a bit of that but she's made it ABUNDANTLY obvious from the beginning that she was planning to marry the prince or the MC's brother who are more attractive and have better positions from the beginning. Ramor was literally just because that's how the 'prophecy' she believed referred to herself went. She then followed it to the letter even when it didn't match up hoping it'd lead to a happy princess ending. And beyond that is now trying to break out of the story because she believes that the 'prophecy' was rewritten by the MC and so she needs to act differently from it to reach the ending she wants. There's a couple good ways to break out in this situation......but given how poorly she's adapted so far I'm fairly sure she's going to shoot herself in the foot again.

Just considering her inability to deal with the fact that the MC won't bully her(and isn't evil...just basically a dragon for money) and she's never seen the prince laying where she's supposedly supposed to come upon him.

@imadoathing : Scummy moron from the start, and his dad seems to be the same since he has not explained the situation to him properly.

Look back at ch 1 before all the harassment accusations started. He was accusing Yulia of not being worthy of him, and it is obvious he has forgot how dependent his house is on hers, when EVERY metric he could legitimately use (family status, wealth, academics, future prospects, etc) says she is more worthy then the tramp he is going to ditch her for.

It is not the prophecy affecting him, it is his nature being reflected in the prophecy. He is an idiot who is full of false pride and blinded by tunnel vision on what he wants.

@imadoathing ngl, the updates have made my memories of the plot grow dim but im pretty sure the prophetic writings have nothing to do with him being a jerk. ill have to reread but im pretty sure the prophetic writings were supposed to put heroine and prince together- MCs fiance is just a scummy bastard and the prophetic writings never included him

@CronosusCZ Nah it said in Ch 10 pg 10, she acted like the heroine in the book and it worked to Ramor to like her, she assumed that just because she did that she could get with the prince eventually if she continued to follow the book. She's just a person who happened to believe in the book and so because of the banshee's power, if she continued to believe in it, it would "come true"

In other words, we should ship Yulia with the prince as the most likely coupling? At least, that's the summary I can draw from this. I'm of a simple mind, I'm only really interested in who is cute and who to ship.

That aside, it really is a shame they over-prepared and Ramon was just so dumb they didn't need to trigger any of the scheme. It would have been cool/satisfying to see it play out fully in my opinion, compared to Ramon being outrageously moronic.
