Thanks for the translations ETC, you all did great work on this series
Wait hold on a secondMan, if only I had a dollar every time I spotted the girl I had a crush on burying something mysterious on public property.
!
No, we're dropping it because it's getting a simulpub. Viz will have the chapters out in English the same day they're out in Japanese. We normally would take an entire week. As a matter of fact, they already have chapter 53 out. There is no reason for anyone to stop reading the manga. If your region is blocked by Viz, pirate it some other way, it's what everyone here was doing in the first place.Good to know, but ultimately not very helpful for people like me. "We're dropping this because it's getting an official translation, please buy it." ends up accomplishing the exact opposite of the intended goal. I use fan translations to keep up with what I'm buying to know if it's worth buying, if it's stayed worth buying, and just to keep general awareness of it. I've several bookshelves full of stuff I've been introduced to through people like you guys, and the vast majority of it sits probably incomplete because I've lost track of them among countless others and the glacial release paces.
Thanks for all the hard work on the series so far! I enjoy this series quite a bit, and your fan scanlation has been a big part of that. You all did a great job and you could definitely do this professionally! EDIT: Wow! Viz's translation has completely ruined the feel for me! Happens like that every time. Oh, well. I still totally respect the decision to drop it.
We'll be working on other stuff of course. Discord server is the best spot to come talk to us, we're nice I promise!o7 gonna miss you guys. I always have a soft spot for fan efforts like these even though I much prefer licensed solutions. Most Japanese media I have consumed over the years are all subbed and popularized by fans, and that one layer of interaction adds much more enjoyment. I'll miss being able to talk and ask about translation facts.
