did you miss how that was because mc is human? like she realized midway that the werewolf greeting is kinda intimate to us and after she got caught off-guard she told him he didn't have to do that. this time she didn't really react because it's vampire stuff and they're also nonchalant to it.

Probably because it was the MC who sniffed her. Considering she gave zero fucks about this vampire dude biting her on the neck, but got embarrassed from MC sniffing her? That would be the logical conclusion. Would indicate that she feels something for the MC, which would make sense given she invited him to her place, yet hasn't done that for anybody else. Yet, she very willingly volunteered to let vampire dude suck her blood... Because to her it was just giving him food. No other meaning to it.

Re-reading it with that context in mind (the author didn't really do a good enough job to show that the blush was just in the mc's mind) it doesn't come off as bad as it seems. They both kind of hand-wave it after that too at the end. Still a kind of weird "Insert-authors-fetish-here" kind of moment though for such a fluffy romcom style series.

Given how many people feel, I do think it author could have made it clearer that it was just him fantasizing that. Idk if this is simply the author just inserting their own fetish here though. If this story also explores the differences in how Genjin and Human go about, then something like this would serve that purpose. Of course, even if that's the case, given how many seem to feel some type of way over that one page, making it crystal clear it was all in MC's head would probably have solved part of the issue people had.

This series is also only 3 chapters in. We may not know enough to say what type of romcom this is. And if something like what happened in this chapter is going down as early as the third chapter, then perhaps this isn't just a straight up SoL fluff romcom with little to no drama.
