I think it's just a lack of interest in the series, the fact anyone's bothering to scanlate it at all is a small miracle.
That aside, I don't see why people have to ask permission in order to scanlate a series, especially the not-so-popular ones like this.
It isn't as if they own the series or anything, plus what's the sniped group going to do about it?

It is indeed a piece of shit manga in quite a few ways. It's no wonder that it's not that popular, too many flaws. The only reason people read it is because of the fanservice/erotic parts, but if I may be frank, if we want that stuff, we might as well read real porn which is endlessly more satisfying than this.
And it's just internet manners to not take someone's project, not that it matters. The worst that can happen is getting flamed but most people would just be happy if they actually like this thing.
I wish the entire thing was translated so that I can get an ending to this manga. I don't really want to come back again later to read the rest when it's fully released because reading it is a waste of time and not really satisfying, I guess I can just read the last few chapters raw, it's not as if I can't read japanese well enough to get an understanding of what is going on and this manga just relies on pictures to convey its message so the text is pretty much just superficial crap that isn't needed.
