That's why there are alot of secondary characters.....they force stuff to the MC to do, making the story interesting....otherwise the MC wouldn't do sht. He is kinda like the MC of the double loli manga. He only pick secondary skills and the rest of the cast do the fighting and stuff, making he do stuff by inertia

The double loli VRMMORPG manga is boring because of too much cooking and it's much too unrealistic there to be so many stalkers. In reality most people wouldn't give a shit about others and just progress themselves.

I know someone like the MC in real life. He plays Black Desert and survival games like Ark, Conan Exiles, Subsistence, Rust, etc. In Black Desert, the last I checked he was in the top 10 of collectors, yet he doesn't have any characters over 50 since he doesn't want to get into PvP range. He suicides his characters to lose levels once he gets to 49. Has two level 9 horses that he breed himself. Not sure if you've played BD, but grinding horses without spending cash is horribly time consuming and monotonous. So reading this manga reminds me of how he plays games. Just grind out low level mobs to collect things and craft a bunch of crap. The only real difference is the MC here isn't a hoarder and distributes the stuff he crafts instead of just sitting on piles and piles of virtual garbage.

@degenerateafro OOF that's literally me in black desert while I most likely aren't in top 10 or maybe 100 for that matter the character I played since I started almost 2 years ago is still 49 while I don't have a level 9 horse yet (fuck you rng) I have literally everything else.

I don't get why they keep saying "mobs". The word "mob" is already plural. I mean it kinda can make sense in some context (like independent groups or different instances), but in the context they keep using the term it really doesn't make sense.

I've been curious about Black Desert Online, but what is this you say about "PvP range"? Are you saying if you get over a certain level in that game, people can just automatically start attacking you and there is nothing you can do about it?

@The5thSeraph Black Desert is full open world PVP once you hit a certain level. It was 50 the last time I checked, but they may have changed it. I've never actually played the game, I just know someone who plays it so I can't really give any details on how abusive the system is. There are plenty of online guides going over it, but most of the ones I see are a few years old so I don't know if their info is out of date.

Well crap. I was almost lured in a few times by the pretty character creation. I did actually buy it once by accident and then immediately got a refund.
I guess if I do go MMO I should probably go with that pirate game instead, though as I recall that also has random PvP, just people complained the PvP was only a matter of convenience and had little actual consequence in that.
