Can I complain about how much I hate this kind of trope?

The moment Tsukina promised she wouldn't pull any risky stunts, we knew that's exactly what she was gonna do.
Even if I didn't like how Hayate objected at first, he pleaded with Tsukina to stay safe. Did he need to also promise that he'd help her one way or another?
And what about Kirito? Couldn't he have just gone to the village by himself to search for Tsukina's mom? Surely he wouldn't be risking his life nosing around white wolf territory.

Are we even sure Tsukina's a wolf anymore? She's more like a bloodhound stubbornly tracking a scent, lol.
(And yet I'm still gonna keep reading this.)
