Na, this whole drama is pretty dumb. While it may be a fitting response from Wolf-senpai from the beginning of the series, it doesn't fit her now since she grew a lot as a character since then. It was a confusing ill-placed trope for some last minute dramatic build up.

I would've rather her had been inside trying to cook him a meal to ease his burden or chilling with the family and learning about him.
