The only ones who have worshipped him are the little kids whom he bought a dozen candies each. And the nameless soldiers he impressed and even saved by quickly defeating large monsters. Others have tolerated him for various reasons, such as saving their fiefdom, which is the case for the Sumeragi family. The Sumeragi's place their duty to govern their land above everything else, so why would they care about Harold's foul mouth when Harold single-handedly saved the whole fiefdom from a complete disaster? Harold even showed them that despite acting like a dork, he's actually interested in saving people at large and isn't planning to follow in the footsteps of his awful parents. Actions speak far more loudly than mere words.

These chivalric order folks are different because they know nothing about Harold, apart from Harold being the youngest person ever to be accepted in. So, they might still be careful about dealing with him since he's a genius. A genius specifically recruited into an organisation could be viewed as untouchable.
