Japan kept using flip phones due to old agreements and lobbying from phone manufacturers and providers effectively keeping new phone tech out of Japan, while the rest of the world was switching to smartphones. Hence why a lot of their population still used old flip phones and outdated smartphones and services for a long time, after most of the world had moved on to newer stuff.

Also I know I'm just echoing the sentiments of everyone else at this point but this whole thing is ridiculous.
While I know there is a different culture of how things are in Japan and Japanese schools, clearly the author must have been home-schooled and because they are delusional to think any of this would go down this way. It was beyond the suspension of disbelief. And that is after knowing how many times schools in Japan have ignored serious issues and bullying and the insane suicide rates a lot of schools there have, and how they literally put up fences to stop suicides and that still barely reduced them. Lol

The teacher shamed me to my face about how rotten I was to pick a fight with a mentally-challenged kid. Then I was taken to The Office and got The Board. Nobody would listen to my "lies". I'm not sure if my parents were ever notified of the corporal punishment.

That was almost 50 years ago. Nah. I'm not bitter about it all. At least most of the adults involved are either dead or will be soon.

Yeah, had similar experience in 90's, bullied af in primary, among other things kid put my hand between door frame and shut it, have disjointed fingers of my right hand for life.
Another time he start to kick my backpack around the class, got fed up, bitch slapped him and... had to switch schools because he had a cut on his lip lmao

The story of a teacher immediately believing of bullying is a stretch, perhaps to some, but having experienced something similar I'd say it's plausible.

You just don't have the skill bro, mentally ill kid is like the weakest link. How did you get the blame, i literally still remember that time I pick on a mentally ill kid he got mad and punch me, a teacher then ask about the fight and I just said "oh it was just a misunderstanding you know how he is" and I pretty much got scot free.

Rather than blaming the mentally ill for being a retard just said he misunderstand something and suddenly hit you 10/10 you wouldn't get any blame.
