Isopods are an order of Crustacea, which sit under the phylum Arthropoda
And Crustacea include shrimp (among other things), which means various species that fit under the term "Isopod" will share common traits with Shrimp.
So whatever specific specimen is in that book that she's looking at, probably maybe could taste something like shrimp, at least somewhat.



Or it'll taste like chicken, because somehow a ton of things seem to.

That said, the Flapjack Octopus is among the coolest molluscs in the ocean so she's got good taste there.

Clear would be, "I like you, please go out with me." Right now she could just be enjoying his company. What has she done that has definitivly shown she has romantic feelings for him?
