And what's so bad about that? Just because they have pointy ears and live longer it doesn't mean they have to be much different from humans, also, this is just a single village, doesn't mean all elves act like them.
It's my personal preference that they would be more different than that. It would make the world more varied. If it's just cosmetic in practice, because in only a few series the lifespan really plays a role (though there are some, like Frieren or Tensei Shite High Elf ni Narimashitaga), it just reminds me of cosmetic microtransactions in games. In too few fantasy series we have wildly different cultures/societies anyway. Even in RL medieval Europe, there were big differences between north and south, east and west, and if you went a bit out of Europe to Asia Minor, Middle East, or North Africa, you would certainly get something very different. If you had that, and then elves, dwarves, and such having their own, very unique societies, it would be awesome.
