I'm not sure how to feel about this strategist. He is sooooo coooool, but when push came to shove, he chose to betray his lord. Where were his genius strategies then? Does this mean he is only competent under VERY specific situations? That's a bit disappointing.
Now here he is, he is the best at making strategies during mock battles, and he is quick to criticize the generals under MC as mediocre at best...didn't he choose not to engage said generals back during the rebellion? Also, he is a better swordsman than MC's squire, even though we've been shown how capable she is when it comes to fighting...come on.
This is Mary Sue levels of build up for a dude who chose betrayal over confrontation. I call BS.
Other than that, pretty cool strategist character.
