I kinda do feel sorry for her (purple hair) but she's asking for the impossible in this case. If I got the situation right, she did try to befriend MC and was supposed to meet her on the accident day. Someone contacted MC that someone was looking for her and MC did search for her in the rain, she just forgot she also had a meet up with MC but was therefore initially safe since she was hanging with her crush at the time. The hangout ends, she gets semi rejected, runs aimlessly, gets caught by a few bad men, MC spots them, gets slightly injured when pushed away by one of those guys (thereby accidentally having her hood fall down and revealing her face/head and her social anxiety acts up) but MC gets a little bit of courage to contact the police but has trouble speaking due to her anxiety but successfully manages it. The police barely arrive and by that time, purple hair's hands are nearly or is already injured that implies she'd almost lose her ability to draw. So, what is the problem? Is she asking one lone, physically weak woman to save her? Call for help from passerby when all of this is happening in public and no one but MC already stepped up?
So, really the one at fault here is mostly purple hair (except on the abduction part), for a friend, she forgot to contact or set a later date for their meetup just because she was hanging out with a crush
