Storyline seems to borrow from I Shall Seal the Heavens (ISSTH). That the parents must not interfere with their child to prevent some calamity from happening with the child.

@EienMugetsuTensho I'm sorry but it does not resemble a bit of the masterpiece. There's a lot of other novels/manga that falls into the category of "We shan't interfere with the child's life"

For the people that haven't read ISSTH, the novel is one of the best periods, the parents aren't the main focus but the adventure of Meng Hao and his will to seal the heavens is. It's filled with epic adventures and although Meng Hao comes out okay in the end of every arc, there are always consequences that leads to bigger things (seriously).

This is one of the most bland manhua I've read.

Nothing is overtly bad, it's just that it feels like it lacks substance and things just happen.

The chapters also seem to end on really odd notes.
