She's mage, if she can sent someone's Consciousness to past, why cant she rewrite or change their memories

Evie doesn't have memories of the past because she got isekai'd into this world at some point after kid Elsa departed from her mansion, which is also the point where the story diverges from the game's supposed normal route. Evie herself in the first chapters realizes she can't explain why the backstory of the villainess (her) changed so much.
Likewise, she has no memories of her child self "spending time with a random lady" because that was the not-reincarnated version of her that got switched around

Well of course elsa has changed because the last time she saw evie 10 years already passed. For elsa it has been that long since the last time they saw each other.

But if you re read again the next few chapters you"ll see that elsa is observing evie's attitude and behavior towards her, she's wondering why evie doesn't seem to remember her. Since evie's attitude towards her is somewhat like strangers of course she needs to restrain.

I just re-read the chapter 13-14 during Elsa's flashback when they first became deskmate, and it doesn't seem like to me that she actually know Evie from the past considering her thoughts of Evie is literally "This young lady is no difference from the rest of them, she's just a noble who bullying me for fun", unless I completely missed something else, please tell me.
