@Bornsinner imo. Back in the day when I was browsing through all genres I noticed just how superior Yaoi to Yuri is. For the most part, Yuri manga are pretty weak when it comes to development and seldom get past 15 chapters. On the contrary, old school Yaoi would have some strong storylines with interesting characters and a lot of cool events. Definitely worth browsing through if you are interested.

And then there is the case when some of the Yuri and Yaoi never got tagged appropriately because of Reasons. So you might need to actually do a little bit of investigation to dig gems out of obscurity.
