@twinklecake at least they HAD a choice,almost everything that happened to them was consequence for their choice of exploring the Abyss,they could just never go there if they wanted to and the story would end,here,they dont have a say in the matter,and it's arguably worse considering that in Made in Abyss the main characters not only had more experience in exploration and had the knowledge of the world that she lives in and know how it works,she also has Reg accompanying her compensating somewhat for her lack of offense capabilities,but here,what does this kids have ? they are lost in a unknow world filled with unknow dangers, with no food or means to fight back,i would not be surprised if one of these kids dies horribly to motivate the other two to survive

@Kuyu It's a isekai,there probably is a fat bastard waiting in a corner where he usually would be dealt with in an instant by the overpowered protagonist,now the situation is gonna be tricky to deal with now that the protagonists are literal children,like,we see how a normal human would probably not survive in other isekais like re:zero,altrough in this case i dont think the kids have the luxury and sanity to die again and again
