Unfortunately yuri often doesn't get proper time to breathe. I mean, a lot of manga in general suffer from that, but yuri especially. Authors have to begin with the end in mind just in case they're forced to quickly wrap things up.

Either Machino gets all of them (either here in the Real World, or she goes back to Celestia with them and they all Polycule it up in fantasy land), or they all part ways and the Five return to Celestia, after helping Machino figure herself out and what love and connection actually mean for her.

I think either option would work well, and could lead to a lovely ending full of feelings. If she truly has to pick one of the Five, though, is the sort of ending that seems the most dissatisfying.They're each just so great and their characters and stories so fleshed out compared to one another, that it really feels like an "all, or nothing" sort of climax.

But, I look forward to finding out what happens.

And it has been made obvious that she's feeling true love for Olivia.

Polybeggars do it everywhere, anywhere, no matter how or why, not caring about any rhyme or reason. They just want it to happen for the sake of it, just to check a box.
Utterly and completely delusional people. Worst part is that they always get butthurt because the fanfic they made up in their head didn't come true and because the author dared to tell the story they wanted to tell.

I think the three have just written themselves off but Machino is still figuring out what love even is for her. Her definition of love is surely going to be something to be shared with many people.

This is the worst part of a harem manga. Seeing adorable characters get their hearts broken until only one remains with her heart still fully intact

I get not having a poly ending cuz it would be unlikely for machino to find 6 people who are all onboard with poly. And machino might not be into poly either.

But if olivia loses to the princess, Imma be heartbroken. All my homies want olivia to be happy T_T

It's so sweet that the little munchkin girl can find happiness whether she gets machino's romantic love or not.

I too am tired of the battle royale that is harem manga. At least this one was a little better in discussing it early. I am team Olivia solely for the fact that it's often the first person that pops up wins and I want even the tiniest of deviation. Maybe we're all just so burnt out by the cliches
