@LuketheSmugger That and if you toss in Anastasia Romanov... the two most popular western fappables in Japanese culture. (Until Arthur got a genderbender, that is)

Apparently, no one likes Eleanor of Aquitaine or Matilda of Tuscany, guess they're too old for Japanese taste ;p

@sandvikboy Exactly. It was barely tolerable when the MCs were Japanese like in other stories but to push that ideal to non-Japanese MC like in this one feels very forced.

Also, it's obvious that the author doesn't know that egg on rice can only be eaten in Japan because the eggs selling the are so hygiene that they can be eaten raw. You can't even eat raw eggs in the most part of the world let alone another world.

Joan of Arc was not burned by 'the enemy', she was burned by her own people for heresy, she was trapped, if she admitted she heard god, it was blasphemy, and if she didn't, she would be deemed a liar, both options would result in execution, if i recall. It was her own people, for political reasons who moved against her, nobles and the like, because she was a peasant girl.

Uh, the Joan of Arc is a bit... less fucked up than she probably would be in reality, while still managing to be more fucked up.
She probably wouldn't be a very sane person after being tortured and burned alive for something she couldn't control.
She also didn't brandish her sword very often nor was she known for her sword skill as far as I know.

Jeanne de Arc... this one hurts a lot to see... Either go for the english name being Joan of Arc or get the name right by spelling it Jeanne D'arc :x

Jeanne D'arc was not a skilled swordsman, nor a outstanding military commander. she was an excellent figurehead. she also, in classic French fashion, completely ignored an English treaty and restarted the hundred years war just a few months before the King of England (I forget his name- Henry the 5th maybe?) was to take the French crown
