You're not wrong, she's recklessly irresponsible and irresponsibly reckless. But she'd probably rationalize it, if she considered it at all, with "If you couldn't handle the hydra, then the Demon King's army would have slaughtered them all later anyway."

while stupid as a test, it does also act as a wake call to get people into preparatory action (aka make people take the threat seriously).

it is the worst way to do so, but it does push people to be ready for any future threat, better than just telling em usually

Kind of funny to introduce the names of all the demon generals, and then just be like "...ancient dragon".

Entirely expected at this point, but hearing that the kids (at least the swordmaster) are descendants of the hero officially is kinda a bummer. I liked the vibe more when they were just amazing because of the training they got from Kaiser.
