A bit of bulli would've been ok. With how romantic the mood was, and how much had happened between the two, I could deal with a dose of bulli for Scarlet. And the rest just ham it up. It's the nature of romantic relationships in JP media to be about not being true to your feelings or having some unsatisfactory halfway.

This is not a bit of bulli. Fuck Julius, not sexually. Dear God, make her swoon after all that talking and gestures, then call her a toy? Pretty shitty. Incredibly shitty and asshole-ish. If she even acknowledges Julius at all before he humiliates himself once for her, or mildly give an actual reason for such an insensitive thing, what fucking horrid writting this is. Or at least character-wise, it'd fucking suck.

She has never been that cold or uncaring to him for him to something like that, and if it was payback for making him worry with the stunt she pulled vs the dragon and how much she worried him, allude to it in some way...yet even then it crossed the line.
