This could have been such a wonderful series about healing together. Overcoming the crushing burden of guilt by leaning on one another.

Instead, we get artificial conflict and asanine shock value. This series really went the wrong direction, in my opinion. The plot is just stupid.

People calling this misery porn is right... its all a bit too dramatic. But its also not too unrealistic either. One horrible person made a life shattering act that set off a chain of misery for everyone involved.

The knife isn't very big, so as long as he wasn't stabbed in the lungs or heart, he can probably be saved by a quick trip to medical care. It'd be a real pain if we have another child guilting themselves forever about "murdering" someone.

Well now this is quite the misery train. It went partially as I expected and partially not. But it's good to see that while the MC's thoughts go to dark places as they planned he still pushes it down because he wants to hear it from Shiika first.
... and then the rest happened.

I get how the brother lost it cause of everything hes been through but has it already been said yet who is sumire in all this like why does she know everything about the siblings ? I know it said a few chapters ago how she was jealous of shiika cause she wanted to get adopted by mc's mom first until she came in the picture but that doesn't explain why she knows alot about the siblings...

Ah... It's fucked up but yeah I didn't kinda don't care anymore. Like someone else said, this is just misery porn. Really disappointed. I love the art and the initial premise was good. I wish I knew that it's wasn't just a simple reconciliation sorry 😔. Maybe I'll check back in, in a year

Heart and lungs are protected by the rib cage. They aren't that easy to reach. It's hard to judge by the panel, the knife might have hit the ribs or it might have hit below. If it hit the ribs, it would cause nothing but the skin bleeding a little. If it hit below, it might have punctured the body cavity. But like you said, it wasn't a big knife and it was wielded by a little girl not using her body mass to drive it, so it's possible it didn't do much at all.
