About Rai's true nature, as teased by Stella
Kinda wish that the point was that he had to marshal the natural forces of his own world and work smarter to fight the dimensional interlopers, not just be mysteriously stronger and better than the supernatural. Also, not really feeling the genocide aspect, honestly.Honestly? I'm vibing to that shit. A flipside story to reincarnations where the MC isn't shown as hopelessly outmatched most of the time. Yeah, this has potential.
One thing, though.
Please, don't reveal that he's also a reincarnation. Sure, it could open up some interesting story avenues (He who fights monsters and such), but it would be much more interesting to keep him rooted to the world.
Usually, that IS the point of having a natural-born of the setting's world be pitted against a villainous reincarnation (or several) to have them to have to work smarter, not harder, to have them face uphill battle after uphill battle to defeat even the weakest of their foes. I consider it a breath of fresh air to change it up tbh.Kinda wish that the point was that he had to marshal the natural forces of his own world and work smarter to fight the dimensional interlopers, not just be mysteriously stronger and better than the supernatural. I wouldn't be surprised if he was somehow derived from dragons or the reincarnated or something as part of a church supersoldier program or something, but yeah, reincarnator is still probably the safe bet. I'd give this an 8 if at the end of the chapter he realized it by remembering enjoying watching The Prestige in his last life.

I don't remember her asking any question in Executioner's way of life.so magic isnt natural in their world as stated by the blind saint?
this is like "Exucutioner's way of life" but more brutal since they just kill other worlders, no questions ask.
for now at least, this type of series also love to flip around once again and make the MC side with the one they are hunting so we will see.Honestly? I'm vibing to that shit. before they kill a reincarnator they try to find out if they have powers or not, thats what happened at the first 10mins of the show with that loser guyI don't remember her asking any question in Executioner's way of life.
That's not what happened. Menou did what she did to gain his trust and also make sure she could get a clean kill depending on what his power was. Everyone that gets transported to their world gets a power, so that's not really something they need to check.before they kill a reincarnator they try to find out if they have powers or not, thats what happened at the first 10mins of the show with that loser guy
Menou even said that if the boy’s null is actually no power at all instead of deleting what he wants she would have let him goThat's not what happened. She tells him multiple times, whenever he says he doesn't have a power, that he has to have one, because of pic related.Menou even said that if the boy’s null is actually no power at all instead of deleting what he wants she would have let him go
