Yeah, since there's no big bad nor does the MC have any goal he's working towards. It feels kinda aimless.hm. i feel this manga's plot has been alittle unstable. it is like the author needs a filler while they are figuring out what to do next.
The one who killed Seika probably has an incarnation in this world. He could get killed again if he displays too much prowess, which he's awful at avoiding.Yeah, since there's no big bad nor does the MC have any goal he's working towards. It feels kinda aimless.
Could be using magic to disguise them, but I guess there would be no need for the hood...Darn, thought I was getting animal-eared or horned waifu on my isekai bingo card.

Feel like he'd be able to spot that they weren't human somehow (even before they made sure to say "human bandits" rather than just "bandits").
Yet he summons oni swordsmen that dice up giant animated armor during the stampede and casually summons a giant skeleton to eat a couple ghosts...The one who killed Seika probably has an incarnation in this world. He could get killed again if he displays too much prowess, which he's awful at avoiding.
Hooded cloaks still make sense. Adds a physical element that augments or masks any deficiencies in their magical disguise.Could be using magic to disguise them, but I guess there would be no need for the hood...
