Right, and I would assume the limit for this is when half the page is taken up by the ramblings of some snake lady. It's not about the abuse per-se, it's about how the characters themselves are just genuinely disgusting and one-note.

You could forgive Tachibana's verbal abuse if it wasn't her one and only mode for all situations and people. There's no variation to this, and to top it off, she's retarded. Both version of her have some kid suddenly forcing her to be a prostitute with (to her absolute chagrin) a legitimate medical excuse. But only the porn version has her unironically acting like the guy's broken his hands just to get her to blow him. Everyone else understands exactly why he's there, and they take the job their own varying degrees of seriously.

You could forgive Numajiri's abuse, if it was actual abuse, and they actually had her get off to it, like they insist she does, because at this rate, there's a huge overlap with Tachibana; the only difference being that Numajiri includes third parties in her bitching and sex stuff. I don't know if some cultural politeness thing is being lost in translation, but her dialogue is less abusive, and more long-winded bitching. No, seriously, half of what she does is sit around complaining about "kids these days". I'm sure someone might take offense, but it just smacks me of an old lady who always seems to have had it harder.

Yamaguchi? That one's the best one out of the rejects, if only because she actually has a mode besides "angry, violent bitch". Not only does she fill the hard masochistic niche of brutal violence, but she also swaps between pragmatically objectifying MC, which satisfies the urge to be dominated and have sexual things done to you, but also the standard beating course. And even then, she's a difficult character to follow, since she's emotionally unstable.

I could go on, but you get the idea. Once you get past the basic archetype they're supposed to be, I don't think there's a lot there, even for masochists.

I've read 774's stuff. If you've read it too, you know that I'm at least not not the target audience. If you haven't, then let me tell you right now, that at least one of his works features, among other things, what can be succinctly summed up as "Loli dick snapping". And somehow, that's not the worst thing that happens in said work.

You seem to think I don't get what they're going for. I'm just telling you that for what it is, it's bad. The characters are so retardedly one-note, they're basically just walking fetish dispensers. And the story is... well... trying to be a story too. They have their own arcs and everything, and they all boil down to "You see, dear reader, these women are actually layered. When you peel back the bitchy, retarded, dysfunctional skin, you find a second bitchy, retarded, dysfunctional skin.

If this had been a compilation of disconnected scenes, it might be workable. But the girls overstay their welcome when the story actually tries to suck us into their personal lives, and force us to face the fact that this is literally all they are, at all times. Then, to boot, none of them even enjoy the sex stuff; not even the literal nymphomaniac, who's really only a nympho because she's trying to use orgasms to avoid facing what a fuckup she is. It works for one or two, but when not a single one is really even a little into it, the repetition gets old.

Here, on the other hand, the girls, like Tachibana, actually have personalities outside their fetish niches now, so the space between all the sex stuff actually works as something other than a tedious setup for the next one, trying to pretend it isn't.

774. Nanashi. Like I said: The guy who made Nagatoro. If you ever read, or watched, Nagatoro, and wondered why she and her friends are so excessively mean to some guy they just met, and why her friend group includes an unabashed slut, it's because the author responsible makes (EXTREMELY) hard S&M content featuring literal torture that makes the porn version of this series look tame. He had trouble dialing it back hard enough to make the content palatable for a wide audience, and Nagatoro was already dialed back, like, 95% as it was.

With that in mind, I've read his stuff, and walk away not utterly turned off by the characters, despite them being at least as cruel as these.

And maybe.... honestly, I'm just too weirded out by this series to properly pay attention.... a part of me wants to just drop this.... and the other part of me feels like I should give this a chance solely because I'm kinda wishing for something that's just different after reading a lot of the same old sop.....

You've basically been introduced to most, if not all, the characters, and then even got some weird, cum-eating OC. Doesn't seem like it's going to get any better or worse from here.

Is kinda strange how the porn version of this manga actually develope a lot better the relationship between MC and the nurses, and give a lot more depth to their personalities.
In SFW version the MC is just a nuisance they have sporadically to deal with, and they despise him like it's his fault that he have his hands broken or burned... (i don't remember) and he can't fap. Like he did it on purpose to annoy them.
And their character is a lot more one dimensional. Like: Angry, Creepy, Angry and Violent, Idiot... literal walking tropes. While for example the creepy nurse here is shown to be very submissive and kind of a coward. And her attitude come from the frustration of being dominated or even bullied by both the other nurses and the patients. And she evolve a liking for the MC cause he is a character that cannot hurt her.

Now maybe it's been a while, but the only one who actually treats him like he broke his hands on purpose is Tachibana. Whenever he'd ask for things to escalate, because his refractory period is kicking in, and the nurse literally won't be able to finish him off again at that rate, she would start tearing into him like "Oh, that was your plan the whole time, huh?! Turn me into your little whore because your hands are broken!"

SFW Chapter 2, page 13 has Tachibana very explicitly saying she knows it's not his fault, and her anger would be misplaced. She's just keenly aware of the fact that this boy is the cherry on top of the shit sundae that is her life. Between the horrible staff she has to manage, the difficult patients, the looming threat of her boss, the pay, the hours, etc., turning into some kid's personal hooker six times a day is ridiculous.

And their character is a lot more one dimensional. Like: Angry, Creepy, Angry and Violent, Idiot... literal walking tropes.

Only some of them are more one-dimensional- namely the best girls: Clumsy and Lazy. And Lazy is only slightly more one-dimensional, since the only thing we missed is her thinking of MC as a friend in the porn version, despite her basically forcing the guy to use his hands.

While for example the creepy nurse here is shown to be very submissive and kind of a coward. And her attitude come from the frustration of being dominated or even bullied by both the other nurses and the patients. And she evolve a liking for the MC cause he is a character that cannot hurt her.

She's got a martyr complex in both versions. She'll do something stupid, or mean, or whatever, and then when people do something, or say something to her, she quickly retreats behind a meek persona to avoid conflict, all while quietly cursing the person in question. In the SFW version, she continues to prefer MC because she's got power over him, so he can't fight back, no matter what she says or does. In the NSFW version, she abuses that fact horribly, to torture the guy when she doesn't get her way. She does that in the SFW version too, but the whole bit's been toned well down. In the SFW version, she sees MC as a way to hurt Tachibana directly, as opposed to just being a tool for harassing her with pranks.

Quite later into the series, she, along with the violent one, and Tachibana, make it extremely clear they hate his guts in every single way. They hate him personally, they think his dick is small, they don't enjoy a single moment of their job spent with him on any level, and not once has he brought them to orgasm.

Yeah. This was just after the lazy one drinks and crashes in his room (Which she only does with friends). He, following the dynamic they'd set up until then, just did whatever while she lied there and took it. They caught him, then dragged him into the closet. They start arguing, and then the martyr start crying about how nobody looks out for her. Tachibana goes out of her way to drag him into this with a "Why are you just sitting around like this has nothing to do with you?". The violent one full-ass stomps him in the chest for not telling them a nurse wasn't doing her job, and the martyr instantly shifts all the blame and fault to him right then and there.

The instant the violent one is done torturing him with the drill, martyr punts him in the balls, gets on him, calls him a rapist, and then spends the rest of their little session describing, in detail, how unimpressed they are with his size, and then spending the rest of his "treatment" in the sidelines, taking pictures/video and telling him how pathetic he is, and how his crush will never love him back, among other things.

Either the writing is inconsistent, and I just blocked out the "friendly" moments, or you've misunderstood a brief lack of hostility as "friendliness".

Also, I focused on the martyr, but they all rip into him. Extensively. For basically everything.
