Searching Titles for Lowest Ratings is Pointless

I was curious about what are some of the most disliked series on mangadex in regards to ratings. It's easy to tell for the ones sorted by highest to lowest ratings, yet sorting by lowest to highest will result in many titles with no ratings at all:

Currently, you have to go 58 pages deep to find titles with actual ratings. The lowest one at the moment is I Love My Yandere Neko Girlfriend (New), followed by Mina-sama no Omocha Desu and the masterpiece that is Gal☆Cleaning!.

Would it be possible to somehow exclude or hide titles specifically with zero ratings from being part of the "lowest to highest ranking" list? Otherwise, there's no point to having it as a sort by option, especially for titles that have no chapters attached to them.

As per the sticky thread "Planned and Rejected Features: Read Beforehand", a planned feature is "Search within ranges (score of 7 to 8)" in search. All you would have to do is put a lower bound of 1 once this feature is implemented.

I saw that earlier. Is that going to specifically replace the "sort by lowest to highest rating/score", or just act as a separate way to manually search for titles within a certain range? If it's the latter, is there any way to address the titles with no ratings still being listed?

There's no way of telling for sure without a dev commenting, but from a coding standpoint, removing the sort option when implementing the range seems like extra effort for no real benefit

I mean, I completely agree with how if it's too much effort or work to code in, just skip it. Though if it is possible, I'd like to see it fixed. Cause it's purpose is, as previously mentioned, currently pointless to exist.
