Why this is important?
Most of shoujo, josei, and several type of seinen/shounen are only adapted into live-action due to nature of character design, settings, and other factors.
Genres and themes like realistic gourmet, medical, politics, and josei romance are also (usually) only adapted into live-action.

Having live-action included on the section will give visibility towards those works, especially more and more Japanese company geared to release their show globally via Netflix, Disney+, Prime, etc.

In 2022, 101 TV series, 12 TV specials and 31 live-action movie are adapted from manga.
That's more than 30 adaptations per season.
From My Broken Mariko, Ase to Sekken, to Mystery to Iunakare.

Previous year: 2017 (121 titles), 2018 (122), 2019 (109), 2020 (105), 2021 (115).

Thank you!

PS. Seasonal dorama data can be retrived via MyDramaList

For drama to make it a seasonal section, it would have to meet with the anime 'season', meaning that they are generally start in seasonal start and end in seasonal end (a season last for three months in four seasons country (like Japan)). Drama like this seems not following this and released whenever they want. So it is a hassle to categorize them per season like anime does.

A lot of Japanese media often use seasonal category for dorama as well.

Technically speaking, even seasonal anime does not always aired on exact month. Winter season anime could mean anything from December to February (or even early March).
The date will even more random for TV Special, movie, OVA, ONA, etc.

Example: Winter 2021 anime had Shingeki no Kyojin: Final Season (7th December) and Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san (25th February).

For information, we can always use MyDramaList with desired date and "Adapted from manga" tag.
