@cryum well put. I can imagine God's booming voice saying that as a lead up to the final battle.

@Qelix as gentle said, she wants to fight him at his full power. and like alsha says (and as @cryum skillfully restated), the hero's power is derived from thought. so if alsha knew it was a farce, he'd lose faith in himself, and the plan wouldn't work.
