This series has really suffered from long breaks between published chapters and short chapters.

This is a case where releases REALLY hurts pacing. Something that's a blink and you'll miss it is how a little bit of time passes between each chapter (sometimes). Like last chapter ended so abruptly with the fight AND it's been so long since. So when there chapter starts and the fight has ended sometime ago and we're on a new thing, I was left thinking I skipped something.
