I mean I could understand if it'd be some transmutation magic. But his magic it is healing fingers or smt. Changing gender it isn't
'healing' but more 'reconstruction' or 'reforming'. I feel like author just trying to make MCs ability omnipotent without any reasons and logic. And it isn't only that chapter, in previous chapters it was just the same unreasonable and illogical usage for supposed to be 'healing' type ability.

Depending on how you want to look at it, Healing can be seen as reconstructing a damaged body into a non-damaged body. Magical healing even more so.

Before people get too up in arms about agendas and stuff.
The story has already been fairly in your face about things like racism & sexual abuse, it was just using demi-humans in place of ethnic minorities and that was okay. Here we are now, with 2 of the main characters that were a part of that plot line. And we're tackling trans issues.

I presume that this is meant to cement the humans from earth as forward thinking, open minded individuals more than it's meant as a comment on any specific issue, it's just using the trans issue as a vehicle to further drive home the fact that he isn't a human, like the ones they are used too from their world.

I forgot which chapter, but ever since the start of the whole amnesia thing, I've stopped reading this manga. Instead, whenever there's a new chapter, I've been going through the chapter's thread to see if the amnesia arc is over.

I'm gonna have to wait again, aren't I?

I've seen a bunch of mangas where healing is a magic "change whatever you want into whatever you want" kind of ability. This isn't even that far out there.
