The trick is to listen to so many different songs that any key word triggers riffs and lyrics to come to you unbridled.

Eventually they clash and play over each other. The words bong, dope and sabbath can individually trigger up to 10 songs to play in a cacophony.

I actually stopped reading It's My Life because I'd need to stop after every chapter title, spell and person's name so I could play the damn songs otherwise they would overlap and repeat until I purged them.

It's sort of a curse, I love it though. Someone could say something normal like "I know he said she said..." And I'll start singing Limp Biscuit.

Interesting, i am similar with memes, but my song echoes aren't that severe.

Definitely can. There's a negative and a positive aspect for me though. I'll hear others music in anything I write, yet the scene I write music in is direct Black Sabbath worship so everyone is just playing variations upon their music so no real stress~

The Doom Metal scene is less about innovation and more what sounds good so we get a lot of innovation anyway. Yob's Adrift in the Ocean for example sounds nothing like Sabbath but is based upon the core fundamentals like doing lots of mind altering drugs.

Give it a burl, it's honestly really beautiful.

I'm bigger on the electronic scene. I literally have public YouTube playlists of songs under this name.

I don't write songs tho. But i have improvised a motif or two. Or sung an original stanza. And i love harmony.
