Author's an insecure coomer and he never draws hetero art for fanbox unless the man is faceless or off screen (even with Yuto's sister and her bf), but he's drawn a bunch of Igarashi art where the man is obviously much bigger and has giant hands, so the implication is there.

Honestly I'm kind of worried that he'd try to end it like Blue Flag with senpai accepting Igarashi but somehow they break up off screen and Natsumi gets together with Igarashi in the epilogue out of nowhere.

The symbolism in their names are even there: Harumi (senpai) means spring, Natsumi means summer, and summer comes after spring.

It would disrespect Natsumi and Igarashi's character growth and the story's overall theme of growing up and moving forward. It would also be more unearned and hollow than if senpai accepts Igarashi, because it was at least hinted that senpai reciprocates on some level while Igarashi has never been aware of Natsumi's real feelings in any way.

I don't think he was even planning at first for a possible yuri subplot, but if you follow the timeline of his fanbox along with the manga, you can see Natsumi gradually becoming his favorite waifu to draw lewds of in addition to Igarashi. If he ends up entertaining the yuri end it's likely because he grew too attached to his porn OC's and wants them to stay pure from the influence of men in the canon story and save them for his fantasies. It's kinda.... yeah.

If you think "there's no way it's actually that creepy", maybe it's not, but he's been posting teasers for a fanbox side project of a full length doujin with high school age Natsumi and Igarashi that involves giantess scenes (and possibly piss kink stuff) for almost an entire year, so I'm very skeptical of his intentions.

He realized he has to marry his waifus off to men and dragging his feet to do it as slowly as possible.

Pixiv engagement keeps falling off for chapter updates and he knows he'll get reader spikes if he keeps writing cliffhangers. This manga feels like a chore now for me. Seeing a chapter get posted feels like seeing my electric bill every month. I just want the story to be over so my hyperfixated brain can use the mind space for something else after all these years.
