The OP wasn't great but it was ok. The ED was cute though. Wolf princess Lanka is great. The Okami blues is cute. Pandas exclusion however is unforgivable

btw , if i remember correctly , the mangaka never drew color pages for the previous the year of the pig and the year of the dog . he only drew some pages for the year of the rooster , with the sensei dinosaurs .

The name of this opening song is 学園壮観Zoo = Academy - Magnificent - Zoo .

The singers are the voice actor and actresses of Wolf Girl , Human Girl , Cat Girl , Sloth Girl , Koala Girl and Human Boy .

I noticed that the Panda Girl doesnt appear in this opening , even though in the manga , she is 1 of the main characters ( really ? on what standards ? ) .

And even though some other more obscure girls ( like Neanderthal Girl / Cave Girl , Whale Girl and Dolphin Girl , or something , I cant remember their correct species because they are so obscure , lol ) appear in this opening instead of the Panda Girl .

I guess the reasons are :

- Panda Girl 's popularity with the Japanese fans are very low , because she is self-centered , kind of annoying , and is a mas0chist , lol .

- She is a panda , and everyone in this world HATE this useless animal , lol .

- She is a chinese , lol .

Well , about me , I dont hate the Panda Girl .

At 1:14 , Neanderthal Girl / Cave Girl is part of the Ex Group ( Extinct Group ) , aka the Ex-Men , or should we call them the Ex-Women ? Lol .

New comics series : The Uncanny Ex-Men .

Fugly and useless Mystique / Raven : ... and by the way , the women are always saving the men around here , you might want to think about changing the name to X-Women .

This anime only has 12 episodes , so I highly doubt that it will fully adapt the Ex-Men Arc ( unless they rush the anime like hell ) .

Maybe in the last episode of Season 1 , there will be a preview for the Ex-Men Arc in Season 2 .

At 1:22 , note that the Koala Girl is holding a dish , and it is censored for some reasons . I wonder why , lol .

Also in this scene , the Koala Girl looks too big and the Wolf Girl looks too small when you compare them . They should have the same height .

The anime is actually quite good, i like it. As for the Panda, i guess it make sense why they remove her, especially since China kind of an asshole nowadays.

The timing in the anime seems a bit off. Long laughing of the humans, while Lanka suffers in the bg, for example. But might have been a styling choice, to make it extra awkward. "Look. We are so happily bounding, it's stupid." But the animation of Lanka running away in the cafeteria (9:06)...That is just some bad animation.
The OP gives some cliched african/australian/caribian wildlife jungle bongo/crocodile hunter-esque vibes, screaming "Woooaaaaaiiiiiiildlife!". I see way the went with it, instead something Bleach-, Naruto-, One Piece- or Pokemon-like.

Though the Zebra-tail scene of the manga was by far more erotic.
