V-Bake can be loud if rims are clean, disc brakes too if the pads are clean and so are disks. It's the road dust and gunk build-up make them, it lowers efficiency a bit but they're less noisy.I did not know that bicycle breaks could even generate such a loud and prolonged noise, enough to cancel out any and all other sounds. But, its not like I bike all day to know for a fact, so I guess i could possibly learn something.
Worn brake pads would make bit metallic scratching sounds of pads housing scratching the rim or disk.Lol the dream bicycle had worn break pads
