The best one so far. At a solid 7/10, it’s probably miles above the last volume. I was definitely worried she might still go for the shitty prince in this life too. The reveal of the frog identity was a bit too sudden, but good enough.

he killed her bro. yes he was manipulated into doing it but he still killed her at the end of the day.

I think she may have also realised that what she felt for him was more admiration than affection.

I feel like if this wasn't a one shot in an anthology and more so it's own series, they could've added more foreshadowing for the twist in the end. The murder mystery plot and MC's self improvement could've also been better expanded on. But for what it's worth, it's still pretty good! I'd give it a 7.5/10

Everyone so used to the usual plot that it was expected for her to go with the accomplice prince with no investigative skills. Including me. So happy to be wrong.

Yeah, I think there is a three volume story there. Not too long, just enough to expand on what is there.

Oh hell yeah, this one was a good, concise story. I would have been soooooo maaaaaaad if she ended up with the prince at the end. I think if this were a longer story, I would like if the perpetrator wasn't The Most Obviously Evil Looking Woman In The Room and more foreshadowing about the frog's true identity, but as a oneshot, this was the best it could have been

Phew, I was concerned the author would make the prince the ML anyways.
So far this is the only one I particularly enjoyed in this anthology.
I do wonder about the aftermath of the first timeline though. I feel like Froggy could have at least talked on if she got post-mortem innocence or not after her parents came back from their trip.
